About Us

About the Medical Clinic

Chronic health conditions are caused by at least one underlying problem (also referred to as the “root cause” of disease). By targeting these “root causes” and developing an individualized plan of care we can not only improve chronic health conditions but in some cases even reverse them. For example, the root cause of one patient’s High Blood Pressure might be severe plaque buildup in the arteries leading to the kidneys where another patient’s High Blood Pressure might be related to a combination of being overweight, drinking lots of caffeine, and smoking. In both cases addressing the root cause of disease can completely reverse the High Blood Pressure.

Lifestyle factors, such as what you eat, what you drink, how active you are, how much stress you have, and how well you sleep, can worsen or improve chronic health conditions. We take these factors into consideration during our evaluations as well. We believe in teaching patients how to improve their health through knowledge of health, disease, diet, and lifestyle changes.
